Why music?…
Since I was a little girl, I have been going to music concerts with my dad, sister and friends. Music consumes a big part of my everyday life, and this blog has allowed me to express my passion for it
I am a third year BSc Geography student as the University of Exeter, a degree that some may argue is not very creative. Music is a vent for the creativity which is often lacking in my studies. My aim is to help you think about the creativity behind music, through geographical perspectives that you may not have considered before.
The posts will follow four different themes; past, place, advocacy and labour.
Whether you sing in the shower, listen to the radio on your drive to work or write your own music, we all have a connection to music. These four posts are here to spark a few new thoughts within you and maybe you’ll find yourself thinking about music in a different light.
